Rev. Elizabeth Whitmer, Pastor:
Pastor Elizabeth Whitmer is a native Texan. She received her bachelor's of Education from Baylor University in 2008. She recieved her Master's in Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary, in Princeton, NJ in 2012. Elizabeth began serving as minister at Cann Memorial in November of 2012.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and digging in the garden.

Angela Banks, administrative Assistant:
Angela is our new Administrative Assistant. She enjoys being creative in all things especially if she is able to work with technology. She loves writing and design as well as staying organized. If you need something you can call the office and ask Angela to help you find it. Angela is a native of Elizabeth City, NC but she lives in Chapanoke. She grew up and is a regular member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church. She attended Catawba College in Salisbury, NC where she earned her BA in Communications with a Minor in Religion. In her free time she enjoys reading, and spending time with her family.
Rebecca Rawls, Children's Ministries Coordinator:
Rebecca has been working as our Youth Ministries Coordinator since October 2017. She works along side the Christian Education Committee as well as with Pastor Elizabeth. She is currently studying Secondary Education Biology at Elizabeth City State University. She will be graduating in May 2020.

Dr. Rachel Gragson, Music Director & Organist:
Rachel Gragson, choir director/organist, holds degrees in piano performance from The College of Wooster (BM), West Virginia University (MM, DMA) and in organ performance (MM) from East Carolina University. A native of Ohio, she moved to Elizabeth City in 1968. She taught Piano, Organ, and Music History at Elizabeth City State University and served as the University Organist, retiring as Professor Emeritus. She has over 40 years experience in church music as choir director and/or organist. In her free time, she loves to read, work on her family trees, and enjoy the antics of her four cats.
